FF140 – Food Safe Oil 3H

FF140 is highly refined pharmaceutical quality white mineral oil developed to provide safe, clean light lubrication and protection for food machinery. FF140 is registered with the NSF as 3H and H1 and meets the former USDA H1 (1998) requirements. In addition FF140 conforms to current British Pharmacopoeia and to SI 1966 No. 1073 (Mineral Hydrocarbons in Food Regulations). (Miscellaneous Food Additives (Amendment) (England) (No. 2) Regulations 2001 – only applicable in England)Conforms to general purity standards FF140 meets FDA code 21.CFR 172.878 – USP mineral oil for direct contact with food. FF140 is registered as NSF H1 & NSF 3H.

Typical uses
FF140 White Food Safe Oil may be used as a light lubricant in food processing plants and pharmaceutical manufacturing plants. FF140 may also be used as dough divider oil and due to its non-toxic nature is safe for direct contact with foodstuffs. This product is acceptable for use as a Release Agent (3H) on mincing blades, grills, ovens, loaf pans, boning benches, chopping boards, or other hard surfaces in contact with meat and poultry food products to prevent food from adhering during processing.
